I've never been a big Spider-Man fan. About the most I got into Spider-Man was the "Spider-Man and his amazing friends" show. In the comics, I love some of his villains, but I keep hoping they will pound the tar out of the smart alec Spider-Man. Anyways, this cover caught my eye when I was going through the first issues in the December previews this morning. This looks and sounds like a Spidey version that I might enjoy. I'll probably end up getting the number one and see how it goes from there.

Looking forward to the upcoming Momoko cover for Black, White, & Blood. Her (standard & virgin) covers for Devil's Reign are on my wantlist. I think the face on that second cover looks a little like the one the commission she did for me! Very different hair, though

I was at a small show yesterday and saw a pretty much complete run of X-Men Red in the dollar bins. It reminded me to recommend it to any folks here who are X-Men fans; it was a fairly short run that did a good job of telling a thematic X-Men story. The first six issues have good covers by Travis Charest and the last five have great covers by Jenny Frison.

These are from my monthly MCS order. I actually got it last week, but I've been occupied. The Vampires book was a fun one to read. I enjoyed the GI Joe also. I think I'm going to enjoy the new She-hulk series. Jack of Hearts comes back in the first issue!!! Shadowman has turned into my monthly "must get" series. I'm really enjoying it. I haven't read Saga yet. It was a light haul in February.

I got She-Hulk 1 to see how it looks and added it to my pull list as well. Just read #2.

@Bronte no, I hadn't seen those. First impression, I'm not blown away by them. They look neat, but not something I'd have in my collection. But then, I'm not a huge Spider-man fan.

Understood. In a way you figure this artist is milking the hell out of the web look he originated. But fir some reason I like the green goblin. The red goblin is the rarer of the 3 though.

There are some variant artists who do this too much for my tastes. Mayhew is one; I swear every cover I see from him now is based on something he did before. But some still look good.

@drchaos that 1:50 Rick & Morty #1 variant is quite the find. Especially signed. Worth a pretty penny.

A few new additions! picked up three copies of the Batman promo. It leaves a little to be desired from a movie novelty perspective. It would’ve been nice to have a unique cover but it’s cool that it’s reprinting Long Halloween

In addition, I picked up the remaining three issues of Castlevania: The Belmont Legacy. The mini-series isn’t particularly common and after the Netflix series the price has come up a bit but I was able to pick up the series at a reasonable price
