I am a huge Jack Kirby fan but I think its important to recognize other giants in the industry.

John Buscema's art is utterly brilliant and second to none.

Below are a couple of videos on the artist.

I hope you enjoy them.

Here are a few Buscema layout pages that I have in my collection. Guy was a genius for sure. Scribbled and doodled on everything. These pages show his creative process. The first page I think is from Wolverine #13, the second is from Doom 2099. The third is the back side of the Wolverine page and the last is just a 8.5x11 miscellaneous layout page.

It should be on any list of iconic covers of the Silver Age.

My favorite artist of all time.

I met him many many times in the local comic store in Port Jefferson, NY when I was attending Stony Brook University in the late 80's. Him and Don Heck were frequent visitors at this store.

No one will ever be able to pry these from my dead hands.
Even in death my Kung-Fu grip will hold on to them!

Here are a couple of my favorite books by him I have. I also love the black background on Sub-Mariner 8, but don't yet have a copy.

@Cosmic-Shel - I have a very nice (8.5 or higher) Sub-mariner 8, and that is a fantastic cover. Hard to find in good shape with that dark background.
