I have this set of Spawn that I would like to sell, but am not sure what hat is the best way to maximize it’s worth..should I sell the set “as is”, or open it and submit the books for grading and sell them individually?? Also, any ideas on where to possibly find the value of this set would be appreciated.

I'd leave it sealed. Probably worth more like this than graded I would guess.

How do I know this? Because I've done it myself. lawguy1977 private msg quote post Address this user
Hard to say, but I'd check out ebay and see what others are trying to sell them for. You can research sold items on there as well. Might give you a ball park figure and help you decide if it's worth opening them and having them slabbed professionally.

Definitely check EBay sales. I opened a lot of my Static #1 bags and sent them in for grading after I found out how much graded sells for over bagged. It was an easy decision.

Wow, never seen one of those.
Like others suggested, check past ebay sales.

I bought a ton of those back in the 90's a Walmart when they were first released. I immediately opened all of them.

It wasn't McFarlane that put those out. The Treat Pedigree Collection was a third party that put out collections of primarily Marvel and Image in the early 90's.
