It was actually even worse for the mail guy today. I had, like, 25 pounds of outgoing stuff . Luckily no stairs, but still.

This is a remarkably difficult book to find overall and even harder to find in decent shape.

@BrianGreensnips Thanks, like I said it's my 3rd one. 1 of them is back at CGC for a reholder cause the inner well was loose, then the second one I got the inner well was ALSO loose, but I sent that one to CBCS for a re-grade/reholder cause I can't trust CGC to do it right anymore. Hoping I don't get the first one back and have to send it straight off to CBCS.

Hah, you're not wrong. He's been pretty annoyed with me this year. The look on his face when I ordered like 8 or 9 packages of the free priority mail boxes and they all showed up at once was priceless.

Another one for the Graphitti Designs collection and hopefully my last copy of Kingdom Come lol. I’ve got the Absolute edition, the Slipcased edition, and now this one, on top of the fact that I still need to get the single issues!

Thunderbolts blew up over the past year or so over MCU speculations, which made things a little difficult for me to collect the keys but I’ve been lucky recently. The first appearance Prelude reprint I snagged at less than $20 shipped. It’s in pretty good condition and will benefit from a press. #1 I bought in a lot with 10 or so other Thunderbolts issues for an average price of like $3 an issue. Now I just need the second print and I’ve got most of the major early issues

I’m on super tight budget for the next couple of months, so I haven’t been buying much of anything, but I am still picking up a book here or there, if they are around the 20 dollar or less mark. I was Looking at this book for a while, the during a random ebay search, this pence version popped up, I liked the way it looked and it now becomes my first pence version. I'm digging it.

I hunted down one of these after seeing it mentioned here on the forum. Dated just 11 months after X-men #1...I assume it's their first cross-over?:

@southerncross, I’m keeping an eye on several on eBay and still being picky as even 20 dollar books can get out of Control, there are surprisingly a large number of decent books out there. Of course they are on the lower quality end. But it allows me to at least enjoy the hunt.

Tales of Suspense 49 usually gets that nod, I believe. Crossover with Iron Man.

This book likely has more potential punch than TOS 49 although it was the first x men crossover....because this crossover is the x men and the fantastic four, which we know are both on the MCU coming agenda...and this event could well occur ....great book, always loved that cover myself

I have no particular dog in the value fight, although gocollect makes them look fairly similar. I've got a low grade FF28 and keep a loose eye out for the ToS, but it's always a bit more than I want to pay for.

For early X-Men crossover books, though, I think it's hard to look past X-Men 9.

I have both books and the x men 9 so the value thing doesnt really enter into it for me...I am just looking at the coming MCU potential and the Avengers have had their moment....x men 9 is still the Avengers......fantastic four is the x men and Fantastic four, which is what we will likely get soon, and if that is or happens to be the case, that is a book that will jump hard

I am going for the Team-Up and Two-In-One runs. Early issues in an acceptable condition are going to be the trick. I'll post a WTB list soon. I'm still trying to get organized after being out of town for 3 weeks.

I had my eye on a beautiful pence copy of this book a couple months ago, but it sold while I was trying to make up my mind.

@sportshort the power of the pence is strong!
