Picked up a small 3 box collection...even though the seller agreed to our deal I almost got sniped when I met him to pick them up Anyways here are the highlights from the first box...There is also a full short box of just Uncanny X-Men stuff but doesn't look like any silver age stuff.
I'll post the pics of the other stuff later

Some good stuff there for sure, that Thor 150 is I believe Hela's first cover and it has seen alot of love the last few years. You also landed the first app of Mangog! That older tom and jerry book if it needs rehomed, let me know, I have a cat here that reads and collects those!

@Darkseid_of_town thanks for the info. I'm glad there is good stuff so far.I got lucky I outsniped the sniper.

The Tom and Jerry book is yours if you want it. I just have to check the condition and stuff. I'll let you know.

oh that would be awesome, although the book wont be mine. Anyone that follows my comic adventures knows I acquire Felx the cat, and Tom and jerry books for my cat grimlock. I read them to him and try to explain the art and story. While I am unsure how much he comprehends, it is reasonable to state that he has come to realize that comic book time is still attention directed to him and for him, and that might be enough anyways

I always loved the artwork for femforce 1 ...especially the rex...although the fingers are wrong, at least they got the orientation of the hands correctly done, which is amazing given the time period it was done!

Not to take away from the book at all as the first superboy, but I always get confused, as far as I understood , in crisis superboy was removed from continuity , if I remember right, or it was done shortly after in the Man of Steel series.....would this be the same superboy removed from continuity then or was it another?...and then somehow we still have superboy now...go figure!

Thank you!

Definitely agree! One of the classic books - More Fun being (arguably) the most important title in comic book history. Its recognition will undoubtedly grow in time.

Yeah, funny how DC continuity bounces around, right? Thankfully the real world doesn’t move around in the same way lol.

@EbayMafia Thanks for the books. Love ‘em! In particular, X-Men 10 helps me fill a gap from X-Men 6-11 that I got from another member.

I got a couple grade upgrades today via trades with @EbayMafia.

Since the Flaming Carrot #26 replaces my 9.2 that was gifted to me, I'd like to gift it to a forum member since I don't need 2. Sometime before lets say, 9 eastern I'll post a pic of it on this thread. The first one who quotes the pic and types CLAIM FLAMING CARROT #26 9.2, gets the book if you want to pay for shipping. It may sound dumb but the rule is it has to be typed out the way I did.

@HeinzDad You should trade the 9.2 for muffins from @DrWatson. And then send me one of those muffins.

First slabbed comic I’ve owned and very excited, really like spider-Gwen and my daughter is obsessed with her on the spidey kids show. Got my first batch of comics from cbcs coming tomorrow too.

What do you guys think is going on with these two copies of #281? The one looks sun faded but not on all of the colors and it is a little shorter?
