I know right, cause that should have been the cover for that book anyways.Always bothered me she is never named or pictured on the outside...ugh. Great find...does a coverless book draw a 1.0 grade generally?

Thank you! I have the entire US-priced series but decided to work on the Canadian price variant run of it. I guess I'm about a third of the way through it.

Coverless books start at 0.3 and go down from there, hence the less than symbol “<1.0”

This book would grade a 0.1 since it is also missing a couple of ad pages but the story appears to be complete

I have/had been trying to hold off on small purchases so I could save up for that Adventure Comics #247 I have been searching for or a nice (and expensive) ASM SA key. But the flesh was weak, so I picked up a few things that arrived this week.

This was an MCS auction win:

A few cheap run filler books:

A CBCS friend got me started on this mini-series. I read the first two issues a while ago and figured why not get issue #3?

I have always loved this cover, so when I saw a decent-looking copy that wasn’t ridiculously priced (but still not cheap), I jumped at it. Not sure why, but I have now picked up three Archie books from the 1950’s over the last six months.

Just got these yesterday at my LCS. The Thor books are upgrades and the Conan annuals are new to my personal collection.

Picked up some decent dollar bin finds at BCC but nothing worth mentioning. However I did manage to get these sigs.

Beatty and Shooter.

Shooter, Beatty, Bachalo(with a little spider sense remarque that he did free without me even asking for one...saw him do a few while I was waiting, he seems like a super nice guy), Townsend, Morales, McLeod, Witterstaeter, Breeding, Van Lente, Brown(he was finished doing sigs and finishing up a commission...the guy with him said he didn't have time to do any more sigs but Brown stopped me as I was walking away and said he'd sign it for me), Williams, Saviuk, Koblish, Dezago, and McKenna I got from Harrisburg CC.

Was gonna try to have Forstner sign this for me, but the amount of CGC facilitators in line for sketches was way too long for me to wait...was about 10 of them ahead of me even when I got in early, but at least I was able to pick up the exclusive BCC tpb.

Also picked up a bunch of other prints for a friend who couldn't go, Shooter was doing 3 for 40 for signed prints today so he got a nice deal there including a Shooter/Beatty signed secret wars 8 cover print, Superman 199 print and a Thor 337 cover print. Also got another long story from Shooter behind the creation of Secret Wars 8 and the black suit(although being a Venom fanboy I already knew it, was still amazing hearing it from the source).

Overall Saturday was a crowded nightmare with 2 hours of waiting just to get in, but Sunday was much less people and had some nice finds. Prices on comics overall was way over ebay prices so I didn't end up buying anything worthwhile as far as that goes.

Too bad, I was gonna offer to stay up and drink with you. I think I will anyway, just cause it's almost your birthday.

@Darkseid_of_town The Supergirl is new for me. Some of the others are doubles and triples as they were too cheap to pass up.

Lois Lane 70×2 108×2 111×2
Superman 233×3
Superman 199×2

The supergirl I have I think nine of, and the Lois lane I am guessing at around 7 copies, with these being my keepers
Given the supergirl cover, its almost expected I would have multiples of that!

That Lois Lane 111 has gotten to be tough to find a bit pricey even.
