We're already up to thread 12.

Too many people buying comics, don't you know it rots your brain and your bank account! 😃

@starlord contacted me earlier today and asked if I would post a pic for him. It seems his computer is on the Fritz. He is so overjoyed with his recent score he couldn't wait to share them with y'all. Aside from these pictured I guess he also scored a short box of sweet ASM's as well. The sweet label editing job is on me if anyone finds it off putting, lol.

@starlord, looks like a couple of books in the thousands of dollars on the left there? Hopefully they are complete? Always have to wonder when the most valuable are the ones not in slabs. I think Spider-man 299 is also a legit book long-term but lots of great stuff there.

I just got these back yesterday. The HA-HA #1 and the Ice Cream Man are both my son's books. Big thanks to Brian (Heinz Dad) for the generous gift of the Ice Cream Man book last year which I got from him as a raw book. I gave it to my son on Christmas and we sent it out around February. I think the grades were a little tough on a couple of the books but overall they were close to what I was expecting.

@BrianGreensnips - Some nice ones, Brian. But shouldn’t the Micronauts #1 be identified as the Whitman variant on the label?

@esaravo It should be. I even entered that into the notes on the submission form.

If the viagra is working you should be well over a 9.8. xkonk private msg quote post Address this user
I've slacked on posting my buys for a while but here are some things that piled up while I was out of town.

Assuming a PGX converts successfully, this puts me one away from a 9.8 set.

Filling in some AoA gaps.

Was really only interested in the first Multiple Man, but got this whole bunch for cheap.

I don't think either of these are better than the copies I already have, but it can't hurt to have them.

I had 9.8s of each of these and sold them, so these are nice-enough raw replacements.

Slumming it with modern variants.

Got this in today, 1937 Dime Mystery Pulp. It's in rough shape so I'm not sure if I want to slab it or keep as is in the mylar. The mylar is a little bit of a tight fit (not too bad, just a little) but it's way too small for the magazine bags, and I'd rather have tight and not moving than loose with the ability to shift around.

I keep seeing a 'image could not be located' thing for the middle pictures of my post... not sure why it doesn't like those two. They're an Uncanny 14 and 129 if you want to use your imagination.

Just got this in yesterday! I saw some other users showing off some Mike Hoffman sketches and I loved the old-school look to them.

Unfortunately he hadn’t taken an image before shipping it out so I did not get to see it until yesterday. The waiting was almost unbearable!

To be honest, the sticker shock on this collection alone is pretty high, but to answer your question all books are complete! This collector deals mostly in Mid to High grade books and has many keys. In the collection that he has are GSX-1, Hulk 180-182, FF 48 & 49, Avengers #4 and more! unfortunately, he wants to sell his entire Hulk run as one set and is asking for FMV on everything. So I had to decline the Hulk run. That's not to say the rest of his collection is any cheaper but i have worked with his before and we're are working out the details on the other runs at a financed rate and agreement payment terms.

Shout out to @jesseaweiss - came to a deal on Saturday and he promptly shipped out and was in my office in Tuesday, but I couldn’t retrieve it till now. Was well packed and even shipped with top loader.

Best of all, he only charged me cover price for the comic. I will say though he did mark up the shipping a little.

Coming to a grading table near @sborock soon!

Found this in a shop MARKED DOWN to $125 (was $150). Plus I got a 10% discount.

I’ve been wanting this issue in higher grade (8.0 or above) for a while but though I missed my chance when I didn’t pick it up a year ago prior to the Star Wars/Covid craze.

Looks it over…it has some minor manufacturing defects which look like creases along the free edges but I believe they may press out. But ecen so it’s at least a 8.0 as is…possible 9.0 with a press. Definitely worth the $125 - 10% off!!

By comparison 8.0’s graded go for about $350 now.
