This is a really good pumpkin ale. I like Griffin Claw beers. This one does not hit you too hard. It is nice and smooth. I will be picking up another 4 pack of these. |

Bob and Tom Show plug this line up @jake. Apparently Hootie used to party harder than anyone. I know Rucker got busted with DMT last summer. ENJOY! | ||

@HeinzDad Great show! Especially the covers and tributes: Collective Soul and Edwin McCain sang “Livin' on the Edge" excerpt tribute to Aerosmith's touring retirement which they announced 3 weeks ago. Ed Roland said that Aerosmith gave CS their first big break, touring with them as the opening act. Hootie’s eyes were bloodshot but it didn’t affect his performance. Just hope that he doesn’t become a celebrity cliché and engage in self-harm or self-destruction. No winners in that one. You can tell that McCain, Collective Soul, and Hootie are good friends or at least good traveling buddies |

Flag on the play. Illegal substitution. I think that I was having HORDE Tour flashbacks. The local lineup was usually Big Head Todd & the Monsters (posted above), Blues Traveler, and The Allman Brothers Band. After further review, here are the real pictures of John Popper and the boys. They can jam and know how to work the crowd. |

A little late on posting. The last couple of weekends were packed. About two weeks ago, I saw Peter Weller and he played new tunes as well as classic songs from The Jam. And his opening act was George Houston. Cheers! |

My son works at a very exclusive private golf club. A member left his jacket in the cart after a round of golf. When my son pulled out the jacket a bottle of wine rolled out of it. Fortunately, he caught the bottle before it hit the ground. He checked the club menu, and it was a $4,000 bottle of wine. To me it didn't taste much different than the red blend that I buy in a 3-liter box for $16. Just kidding, I never tasted the wine. He turned the bottle in with the jacket. Currently drinking Dunkin Donuts coffee from Costco. Dunkin has become the preferred brand of coffee in my house. We stock up to the buying limit whenever Costco puts it on sale. |

My Monday morning latte: I can nearly always tell the difference between $5 wine and $8 wine and usually between $8 wine and $18 wine. I may often be able to discern an $18 bottle from a $50 but doubt I’d do better than 2/3. That said, I can -always- tell the difference between a $100+ bottle from one <$50; I am definitely not the one paying for the $100+ bottle so it always tastes more delicious.
