@GAC Outstanding! The chocolate is a rich clear solid back note fully balanced by the Hazelnut which conveys a profound, unerringly up-front statement. Smooth, flavorful and robust with a great finish. I can heartily recommend this four and a half mug rated brew! 1/2

Nice!! I will have to see if I can find that up here or request my local LCBO (Liquor Control Board of Ontario) to order some in if possible. Appreciate the response! 🍻

The V8 Energy drinks are awesome. They are almost always sold out at Kroger and Meijer. I have been drinking them for about half a year now instead of pop. They have only 50 calories and 1/4 the sugar compared to a Coke. I try to limit myself to 1 or 2 a day. The V8 Protien on the right is not as good. I am trying one of those for the first time. It might be my last.

I lived there for a short time.

I’m in Michigan now. No snow tires but admit my all seasons are pretty intense.

Not nearly as cold as Ottawa where I am… likely not as much snow either…

Maybe once in a Blue Moon, speaking of which:

Got a Voodoo Ranger variety pack yesterday & figured I’d try this one tonight.

Honestly? I’m very disappointed. It has like zero flavor. It’s more like a lager with mild citrus & no hops.

But if you’re looking for something you could chug that’s 7.8%, this one would fit the bill. Definitely more of a Summer beer.

Just finished the standard IPA (7%) from the Voodoo Ranger variety pack I picked up.

It’s fine. I definitely like it more than the “Liquid Paradise”, but it doesn’t have much character. Easy drinking, but nothing special.

Man, I don’t think Voodoo Ranger is for me. This one has a funky aftertaste, but it’s just boring in general.

6.6%.

Anyone seen these new beers that are "smoothie style"? Are they like thick and fruity? Smoothies with alcohol?

I have to trust you since you are a bartender. I wonder if an old fashioned with peach whisky would be too much?
