So I am going to have 3 books signed on free comic book day. How does sending them in to be graded work? Is there a specific thing to select when submitting them? Also does anyone have an example of the label you receive as long as the signature is verified authentic?

Well I just saw the "new cases" thread and the pics in there seem to answer my question on what the cases look like.

If you want to have the signatures Verified, you simply click “Add Verified” on the book submission page, add the name of the person who signed, and check the box if you want the book graded even if the signature fails verification, and repeat for every signature on the book.

Be aware, if it is a local artist or someone fairly unknown, Beckett might not have examples in their database resulting in them being unable to verify the signature. Additionally, if the signature deviates significantly from their standard signature the signature may still fail verification and result in a hit to the grade.

A failed verification is not Beckett/CBCS saying that the signature is fake, only that it could not be verified.

Be sure to check out the Newbie’s Guide for additional information on services or submitting to CBCS

@dielinfinite Thanks. It is Steve Geiger signing the books so I'm pretty certain they will have his to verify. I may try to get him to draw something on my Punisher #75 or Incredible Hulk #333 for added originality . Appreciate the answer.
