@Nearmint67 - Looking at the GoCollect database the next closest sale is a blue label cgc 9.8 at less than 1/2 of what you sold yours for.  !! |

Not a record, but noteworthy in that of 35 cgc sales of this comic at 9.8, the sale below at $207.99 (not including shipping or probably 3% MCS fee) ranked #2 in between the Highest at $218.50 and Third Highest at $205. |

| Not a new High, but I think notable as this Alpha Flight #1 Sold at $116 (before fees and shipping) in last weeks MCS Auction and is now the 2nd highest sale in grade 9.0. Why do I think it is notable? I am glad I asked. It just so happens that the highest 9.0 was also a CBCS certified comic that sold via my ebay store a few months ago at $120. So, no cgc slabbed AF#1 has come close to those sales, and of the 111 cgc 9.2 and 9.4 that have sold, only 1 has surpassed either of the #1 & #2 CBCS 9.0 graded sales. $116 Auction sale  |

| @Scifinator I'm curious about your shipments to MCS. I can't even motivate myself to send slabs to them that are less than $100 because of the work and cost. I usually can only ship about 15 at a time and I want it to be worth at least $1,500 in sales. Do you have a way of getting large quantities to them relatively cheaply? | ||

| @EbayMafia - honestly, it's a two sided answer. For comics that I already had here in the PRCa, I use fedex and for the lower val comics I sent in about 25-35 per box similar to how CBCS sent to me, except instead of wadding up paper or used bubble wrap, i use popcorn to lower the weight. Comes out to be $1-2 per comic. For comics that I have at CBCS, I separate my submissions into 2 groups. Those that I definitely want back and those that I most likely will sell. Those that I intend to sell, do not get shipped back to me, instead they get picked up by MCS. |

| This was not one of my comics, but I was watching it with great interest and hope that price would go down. However, NEW HIGHEST PRICE IN GRADE...by a substantial level based on GoCollect database!  Sold for $14,000 which eclipses the previous cgc high of $5,200 and surpassed all but 2 of the previous 43 cgc 9.6 sales. |
