Such an underrated song writer! He inspired Elvis Costello (who made this 2nd song here a huge hit. Fantastic lyrics!) and Squeeze among many others.

Agreed, Godsmack was definitely a direct spawn of AIC. From the album art to the band’s name, they borrowed ALOT. I’ve always considered it a homage to AIC tho

agreed on art and name but their sound is undeniable. AIC has such a unique sound....its a signature sound. In my opinion, Godsmack lifted that sound a little too much...combined with the art and name...feels more than an homage. I remember the first time I heard Godsmack..my first reaction was new AIC...then I quickly realized, no, that's not the case. lol.

Hint #2.

Hint #3 is the drummer probably has 100 lbs on Shannon and could lift him under one arm.

His other arm wouldn’t look out of place holding Mjolnir.

@Davethebrave, @GAC, for me all paths lead back to TOOL LOL.

Heard rumblings about 10,000 Days recently, hoping we’ll get it on vinyl soon.

Tool is ridiculously talented at every instrument/vocally/lyrically and album art. An absolute pleasure to listen to these guys....I love each and every record but Lateralus is a high point in my opinion....I absolutely love that record.

Sure are, it’s my favorite treasure. The Philly show was the first time it was available on vinyl. Couldn’t pass it up, tho it cost a pretty penny. Lateralus is also my #1

I am very jealous. I don’t own a turntable or I’d add collecting vinyl to my long list of hobbies.

@Davethebrave I had a small collection of 50 - 60 lp's. Some highlights were Led Zepplin 1,2,3 & the unnamed 4th album. The who quadrophenia signed by all members, who's next, Aerosmith Toys in the Attic.
Sold them for 200.00 back about 11 years ago. lol....

Very cool. Not the selling for peanuts part, the past ownership part.

I have (had?) a Petrucci signed BFR Majesty guitar (signature in marker on back). Still have the guitar but no trace of the signature. In fact, I can’t even tell where he signed it.

Guess it means I could claim my strat was signed by David Gilmour lol.
