Currently listing to The BombPops “Death in Venice Beach” album. It’s pretty solid if you like Pop-Punk. I did not care for their previous album (“Fear of Missing Out”) though.

As big Queen fan from the days of my youth, Queen penned some of the Greatest rock anthems of all time. I always felt their "News of the World" from 1977 was the best they ever released, and that is saying alot considering their previously legendary releases. Freddie Mercury's vocal range is on full display through out the album and musically Brian,Roger & John were never tighter. Its without question my favorite Queen relaese lead by the hard driving "Fight from the Inside"

MMR’s annual A-Z countdown. About a week and a half of tunes you just don’t hear anymore in alphabetical order. Full of wtf moments, like Boat Songs from Buffet right into Bodies by Drowning Pool. Love it

I just picked up this new picture disc. I had a chance to play it today while working from home. I always loved this album.

More music related than a “listening to” update.

Rob Zombie now has a coffee collaboration:

Hellbilly Brew.

One of my favorite songs to play along to on guitar. Dave’s riffage and Marty’s solos (and yes I know they trade solos at the end…)

Epicness. Almost impossible to listen to without grabbing the axe.

Drums for it are pretty fun too - Menza - RIP.

That's a great album. I am seeing them next Sunday with Lamb of God.

Megadeth's best album in my opinion...not a bad song on that album...brilliant from start to finish.

I’ve been going down quite the punk rock rabbit hole this weekend.

The Distillers
Strung Out
Unwritten Law

And now, No Use For A Name. I was so out of the loop, I had no idea the lead singer, Tony Sly passed away in 2012. He was only 41!

Here’s one of my favorites from them.

This song always takes me right back to the early 90s, not too hard, not too soft!

Volbeat is so good..

If I'm being totally honest, right now I'm listening to a really, really boring assessment/meeting at work

Until I saw the You Tube video from a week ago, I never knew R.E.M. had a cover of Richard and Linda Thompson's "Wall of Death:"
