| A long awaited upgrade! I have the original movies box set which includes the theatrical cuts but have been wanting to grab the Director’s Curs for a while. Star Trek II had its release a while back but with a modern art sleeve that I wasn’t too keen on. Star Trek VI also has a director’s cut release which I’ll probably order when I get paid on Friday  |

Disney is shutting down it’s Insiders rewards program so I had to use up my points or lose them. I was able to get 4 blu rays, though I’m still waiting on one. The main pickup was Cinderella in 4k. I’ve heard excellent things about this release so I’m excited to check it out. This is actually the Disney Movie Club Exclusive which includes a dvd, which is not included in the wide release. Turning Red (also an exclusive but I think this is just a different slipcover) and Monsters University were the other pickups (clearly). The last movie I’m waiting on is the CG Christmas Carol with Jim Carrey. Not the greatest movie from what I understand but not terrible and the remaining pickings were slim. All in all, I’m fine with the ones I nabbed. |
