So I was just perusing eBay and saw that the blue labelled Walmart SA's are now listed as a second print. Did CGC start naming the red's as second prints as well or is it understood that the red labelled books are first prints? Or were some books just graded so quickly that the printing's were not known at the time... I didn't hear if this ever got resolved. PS: Terry still needs a 9.8 blue... PPS: I woulda added this to the old thread but it closed. : ( |

I don’t think it should have been a 2nd print. It was out before the 2nd print direct cover.

Maybe they mean 2nd print of the Walmart variant. Not necessarily a 2nd print of the regular comic. As we all know it came out after the red title.

First prints are never labelled as such, as far as I know, for any book.

It’s labeled as 2nd print only in relation to being a Walmart “exclusive”. Red label = 1st print run of Walmart exclusive (no print designation) Blue label = 2nd print run of the Walmart exclusive. Technically the Walmart cover is the 4th print Ramos cover. However they were separate prints. |
