LOVED IT! Maybe the best animated adaption of a comic to TV I have seen. Can't recommend it enough! |

As much as I liked JL, the show is not a good as the comic was.

I don't know...I just can't bring myself to watch animated hero shows....Starblazers/Space Ship Yamamoto and 1967 Spidey are pretty much the only ones, for non hero it's Futurama and Rick/Morty...maybe honorable mentions to Spidey and his Amazing Friends or GI Joe I'll have to force myself to watch a few episodes...who knows maybe I'll be hooked? |

@sborock The animated series came up a bit when @xkonk and I read through the first few arcs last month. I haven’t seen it myself since I don’t have Amazon Prime but @xkonk seemed to think that it improved on the comic in some ways by being able to more smoothly build up to the main twist/conflict where the book felt a bit less directed in the first few issues. |

@KatKomics You should at the very least check out the 1st 2 episodes.

I'm aware of the comic but have never read it but the animated series (so far) is excellent. Very violent...love it!

Did anyone else think that the Demon Detective was basically Rorschach in a Hellboy costume?

COLLECTOR | dielinfinite private msg quote post Address this user
@EbayMafia The Rorschach similarity is pretty intentional in the comics

It felt more violent with the saturday morning cartoon aesthetic. Cannot wait for season 2. As someone mentioned prior, I was able to get into the show fairly quickly versus the comic where it took longer to get into. |

I nearly gave up on Invincible after the 1st episode. The animation was, to me at that time, almost unwatchable. Then the ending to #1 occurred and I stuck with all 8 episodes. Boy oh boy am I glad I did stick with it. Animation eventually grew on me and the story was exceptional. Highly recommended. |

Have read all the books and the show is a lot of fun so far! Aa for Jupiter’s Legacy, I will go against the grain and say I enjoyed it (as did my wife) partly because of the very slow pacing. Disappointed it wasn’t renewed. The FX were definitely subpar but we enjoyed the show overall. |
