| For those of you familiar with Julie Strain , that were not aware, she apparently passed away January of this year , primarily due to complications from her advanced dementia. Sad loss for the scream queen community especially....some might remember she was married to Kevin Eastman for quite a few years. I had met Julie a few times, and am saddened at her passing. I had sought to find her biography but so far a search on Amazon reveals only a few copies that even used are well over 300.00 If anyone finds a copy lying around at a local book store or LCS for a reasonable price please let me know! The world is a little smaller place without her!  |

| I hadn't thought about her in years. I just read up on her life and didn't realize some of it. She fell off a horse in her 20s and it pretty much wiped out all the memories of her childhood. They believe that's what led to the dementia. She was only 58. | ||

| Right, she was entirely too young and full of energy to go so soon. Very tragic. I had met her at a few shows and used to stay in touch with her back during the nineties. She was always so helpful to me and so sincere. | ||
