A good friend of mine was lucky enough to have the opportunity to digitally paint the cover of Sgt Fury #1 for Marvel Masterworks a while back. It is the closest he'll come to working with Jack Kirby. |

| @Amspider this is how I explained it one time. The contest is weekly. It starts when the winner of the previous week posts a new contest (usually sometime on Friday). People enter covers that fit the category that is picked out. Covers can be entered into the contest until Wednesday noon EST. At that time, everyone votes on their favorite covers. You can pick out three covers. Your favorite cover gets three likes, second favorite gets two and the third favorite one. Voting ends 11:59 pm EST on Thursday. You do not have to have an entry to vote. The winner is the one with the most likes. Those are the broad guidelines. The actual rules are shared in the first post of the contest each week. The past winners and contest themes are in a pinned thread at the top of the forum. |

| Just as an FYI: I'm not a huge Kirby fan, though I recognize his importance to helping create Marvel in the 1960s. Anyway, that's why this particular contest did not interest me and I didn't participate. So I just noticed this X-Men cover was entered that week, and it's definitely not by Kirby.
