| Hello, Hope all is well with everyone. I purchased this comic from Dynamic Forces. I noticed smudges around the initials. Would that hurt the grading? Will they be able to remove the smudge if I sent it off to have it graded? Should I have it sent back to Dynamic? I have never taken it out of the sleeve. I have 2 of these comics the same way.  |

If the signature is verified then I doubt it would hurt the grade or if it does, not by much. I have a signed book with a pretty bad smudge that got a 9.6. A CBCS press/clean might help a little but I don’t think they would focus on getting it entirely out, which may not even be possible without resorting to restoration, which CBCS does not perform. If the smudge is bothering you significantly then maybe consider returning it but that is really more of a personal decision |
