Price Increases on Fullbacks and Mylite 2's from Gerber14650

| Was checking ebay for some fullbacks and Mylite 2's and my go to guy had marked his up from around 36 dollars for fifty bags and boards to nearly fifty dollars per set. If you havent stocked up recently, might want to get it done before prices get even worse. (The increase I noted above was for moderns, so imagine how much more it will be for silver/golden age) |

| Yikes! That's a big price jump! Fortunately I bought 1,000 Mylites and fullbacks about six months ago, so I'll be sitting pretty for at least a few more years. |

| I ordered 1000 over the phone at E gerber. She said it would be 4 to 6 weeks. I said ok I still want them. I believe a 1000 is about $200. They will bill me once ready to ship. | ||

| I am thinking a thousand fullbacks and mylite 2's will cost you a bit more than two hundred given the thirty percent price increase, but it would be interesting to know for sure. Fifty bags and boards on ebay , as far as fullbacks and mylite 2's are as high sixty dollars...20 times that would be 1200 dollars....even at the cut rate of 45 a set, that is still 1k. Thats for modern fullbacks and mylite 2's . |

| The guys selling on Ebay or Amazon are buying from E Gerber and then doubling (or more) the price and reselling them. Save some money and buy direct. | ||

| @JustThatGuy @SidTheSquid I like the Avery labels as well. I use the 1/2" x 3/4" white labels. Also on the outside/back of the bag, I place a label with a code. My spreadsheet gets updated with the code which indicates who/when/where/$$$ I got the book. |

| @Darkseid_of_town You're right, if he was saying 1000 of each, bags and boards, then it should be more than double that $200, but if he meant 1000 of either one, it's about the $200. Regardless, $36, or $50!, for 50 bags/boards is a rip off. | ||

| I failed to mention 2 things. I placed the order on April 15th. It was also just for 1000 Mylite 2 Standard size. I think with tax and shopping it came out around $200-220 range. I forgot to write down the actual cost. | ||

| I might email my dealer and ask what date the rise in his costs occurred and if it was across the board or only on certain items etc, and see if I can get a feeling what is or isnt happening. I do know that just looking at sellers on ebay, they would either have to all be working together or they all are rising prices in response to something | ||

| @Darkseid_of_town Just order from egerber. For 200 mylite2s back in 2017 it cost $37 now it is $44.50. So there prices went up about 20% in 4 years. |

I have included an actual invoice dated 12/20 showing my costs for 725m2, 775m2, 700fb, 750fb: 3k 725m2 @$480.00 | $480.00/ 3= $160.00/ 1k 3k 700fb @ $435.00 | $435.00/ 3= $145.00/ 1k 1k 775m2 @ $165.00 1k 750fb @ $155.00 THEN: | NOW: 1k 725m2 $160.00 | $192.00 1k 775m2 $165.00 | $198.00 1k 700fb $145.00 | $167.00 1k 759fb $155.00 | $179.00 Shipping per 1k $80.00 There is no price break no matter how many units you buy. the price per 1k is same if you bought 1k or 10k. Some of you may have bought from me in past, (sorry in advance for the shameless plug) I sell these to support my collecting habit, I don’t gauge like others selling the same items for $69.99. Before the increase my price was $37.99 per 50 units of 725m2 and 700fb. I have increased my price to $49.99. I’m not getting rich at this for sure. However unlike other sellers, I do not back order or presale. I only sell when I have the actual units in stock! This is why my units sold is low, because as i run out of product the auction ends as does the corresponding data of units sold. I have sold over 13k units of 50 to date. I ship in special ordered boxes from U-Line. Each unit of 50 is packed with care: ample padding to protect from dings and bends, anti cut boards to protect from recipient cutting product upon opening, triple taped sealed, and if more that 1 is ordered the units are double boxed for maximum safety during transit. I personally inspect all my E. Gerber products upon pick up, that’s right I pick up in person as I live 25 min from E. Gerber’s only worldwide HQ. | Was looking at those bags you have for graded books...I assume those fit all graded slabs.....but I am almost certain they would not fit books that are larger like the Marvel preview books. I may have to get a set of those for my slabs. I would have thought a larger bag to hold a graded slab would cost more than the golden/silver regular bags. | ||

Regarding the 914m2 price it less as there are no backing board. I them in sets 0f 10, 50. Have combo going with 100 914M2 andc5 CGC graded comic storage boxes. |
