July 8, 2022. Looks like the screencap was pulled before the date was onscreen.

Dreaming that someday we'll get a decent FF movie. The First Family of the Marvel Universe needs their day in the sun. Just before Galactus tries to eat it.

I think this is as good of a chance as we're going to get on a great FF film. I can't wait for this movie. I'm thinking Marvel will forgo an origin story (although I would like to see them do one) like they did with Spidey.

If the MCU uses the same template as they did leading up to Thanos, then I'm at a loss as to who the next big bad guy can be other than Galactus.

I feel their "event" films have to be bigger than what came before it and not many villains are bigger (i.e. more threatening) than Thanos.

On the threat level of Thanos, are Kang and Dormamu up there? Certainly Galactus is. Dr. Doom is awesome and I'd love to see him but I don't think he can be the big bad guy like Thanos was for two phases of films....maybe I'm wrong tho.

Kang is making his appearance soon in quantomania or ant man 3. Eventually we have to see Galactus , they're not letting that opportunity go to waste after fox turned him into a fart cloud.

If the viagra is working you should be well over a 9.8. xkonk private msg quote post Address this user
If you watch the video for the announcements, the Marvel symbol at the end looked awfully 4-ish.

Rumor is he could show up at the end of Loki since it's a time travel show and his sometimes love interest Ravonna Renslayer is one of the characters on the show.

@GAC if they spread the powerhouses out, and use some creative story telling, they could turn dozens of villains into big enough threats. remember when Red Skull got a hold of Professor X's brain and took on the full avengers? or when Punisher killed the marvel universe? I hope they go smaller (less galactic) before they turn to Galactus

Most certainly but I don't think they'll use the powered-up versions of villains in their film introductions. They'll likely use their more classic incarnations, I could be wrong though.

I also do agree that smaller films would be very cool to see as well.

Personally, I'd like to see them reboot Spider-Man and make him Miles Morales. I think it frees the MCU to do alot of things that they can't do with Peter Parker being the character.

If they produced a live action Spider-Man movie half as good as Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse then it would be something to behold.

@Towmater I hear there plan is to do 3 trilogy with the current spiderman. high school, college, adult. 9 Peter Parker films total. I bet they will also do a Miles trilogy congruently

@comixcited I get what you are expressing. I'd just rather see a Miles movie. Peter needs to be put up on a shelf for awhile. I understand he supposed to be the "Tony Stark" of the next phase but he's limited and constricted by his history in comics. Miles is more of an unwritten book. Besides, I think Miles is the best new character introduced in decades.

@GAC

I wish you hadn’t posted this.

It made me realize how behind on news I am.
I’m still waiting for Hawkeye and the What If series.

I can’t even think of 2022 yet.

I like the Disney + series so far but I worry they might become MCU adjacent like agents of shield was.

I prefer they add some value to the bigger picture.

So far they have, but I just wonder if it’ll keep up.

As long as Taskmaster is handled correctly, doesn't get killed off, and is used in a Deadpool movie then I'll be happy.

@Towmater my money is on it turning out to be Lady Taskmaster. probably Rachel Weisz's character. I have nothing to back that up except intuition. might not be what yer looking for..... could still be dang cool though!!

@comixcited I'm kind of looking for the Taskmaster vs Deadpool that Ed McGuinness and Joe Kelly made happen.

If she is the Taskmaster then her character must be on some kind of growth serum in the movie. David Harbour is 6' 2" and Taskmaster looks about that tall in that fight scene. According to IMDb Rachel Weisz is 5' 6".
