Converting CGC slab to CBCS14507

| Hi everyone! I have a CGC 'Green Label of Death' (married cover, tape on cover, 1.5 inch spine tear) graded at 1.5. I want to convert this to a CBCS slab, since the Green CGC label is an eye-sore. Does anyone have experience with converting their CGC slabs to CBCS? Did you just send in the un-opened CGC slab? I'm considering removing the comic from the CGC slab and sending it in RAW, since its defects match the qualifications listed for "GOOD 3.0 to 1.8". But I assume that a RAW comic also runs the risk of receiving a grade lower than the CGC 1.5. |

@earthprime send it in with the slab. They will crack it for you and its extra protection while in transit. Welcome aboard! |

| Yep, just send the slab in. Did this for a couple books just a few months ago for their re-slab special they had in November. It's great. | ||

| @earthprime - From a safety standpoint, I have always just sent my cgc slab to CBCS intact and let the experts crack it. Whether you send in raw or slabbed, not going to make a difference as to how CBCS grades it. | ||
