I'm showing a "Pay Balance" button on my orders even though I provided a credit card with the submission. From what I've read, CBCS bills your card when they're ready and have any revised totals. Am I wrong? The TAT is already slow. I don't want to be holding it up.

You will get the grader notes when you get the grades...once the books have shipped back to you. You will also be able to access the grader notes any time you want by scanning the unique code on the back of the slab.

..and every now and then your plane crashes, leaving you stranded on an island wondering when, if ever, you'll be shipped home.

Takeoffs and Landings are 95% of the danger. Comic grading has that in common with air travel as well.

Your credit card will be billed when your books are Received.

If you sent your books to CBCS in Oakville then there's huge delays in getting them back....huge delays.

Keeping track of my latest submission and sharing timelines. Received a new email status

Order received by them based on USPS tracking - 05/12
Credit card charged/Status changed to Processing - 06/04
Moved into pressing area - 06/09

My order were all VSP and some books I had selected prescreen press. By moving into pressing area, does that mean it will be going through prescreen or that it already was and it needs it?
Also the status of invoice has not changed for those wondering.

Just curious who has done 2 day modern? Do you write β€œ2 day modern” on the box?
Also with the current crazy back log, other than the usual wait from when your books get delivered to when CBCS opens and puts in the system is the 2 day modern still 2 days or at least close to that?

@Sevans1979 Boxes are actually opened when they arrive. That just isn't reflected to the information we have access to as customers. They know if something is a 2-Day pretty quickly.

It looks like 2-Day is actually about a week right now https://www.cbcscomics.com/estimated-turnaround-times

I had this yesterday as well. Was only a small amount ($3 for me) but no idea of the reason.

Tried the button and it turns out the card info they had on file was invalid. So I guess this is their way of telling us there's a problem?

Redid default payment info, clicked the "Pay Balance", received receipts and the button is now gone.

I guess this has extended my TAT. Orders were set to Received and Processing over a week ago and I've been sitting on my thumbs wondering when they were going to charge my card.

Lesson learned.

hard to tell....I've had multiple orders with no changes right until the end - and then WHAMO!! e-mails galore as they flew through 2 or 3 stages per day and into 'ShipToCanada'

DAY 182 of the sad and unexpected incarceration of my beloved comics. Just found out their sentence has been extended to 217 days! What did they or I do wrong? With they ever be released? I sit here day after day waiting for word of a reprieve, will the governor step in? No. Will I still be here when they get home? Maybe. Waiting, just waiting...
