| So I had a couple of questions about how the process works for screening/raw grading. I love the idea of screening for a grade and if it doesn't make it tell me what the grade is, certify it even, but don't encapsulate it. That's brilliant. A) Does CBCS require a specific number of books in a shipment before you can screen for a grade? B) I put a book in to my cart with both options checked just to see how it looks and it costs $0. I'm assuming that this is because cost will be determined by which process it goes through after screening. Am I correct? C) Is the screening itself free? Or will that also be added on later? Or does CBCS charge a reject fee like CGC? In other words, if I sent it in and it failed the screening I'd get charged the reject fee + raw grade fee? If it passed the screening I'd just get charged the encapsulation fees? Obviously shipping is on top of all of that. |

| A) There is no minimum number of books required for grade screen B) Correct C) Screening is free. If most of your books pass the grade screen then there is no reject fee. If fewer than ~70% of the books pass then there is a reject fee of $4 per book, I think |

| I think, but I'm not sure, that if you raw grade then any grade screening rejection fee would be waived. You would only be charged a screening fee if you have too many fail and they just get sent back to you. Anyone have more definitive info? | ||
