In hindsight maybe the squeal image and my repeating a Jeff Foxworthy joke were not the most respectful ways to memorialize Ned Beatty shortly after his death. Could someone please mention another favorite Ned Beatty movie so I can alter the image in my head?

What is the meat at Taco Bell made out of?? I’ve been forced upon hard times where I have to take care of myself and I’m wondering if I really should eat Taco Bell for the first time in 6 months.

Ok, this one intrigued me. According to Google, no.

"You might be able to pull a rib out, but the spine is really the anchor of the body. You couldn't anchor the rest of the body sufficiently to tear the spine away intact. If you are asking can you do something like this, the Predator ripping a spine out…the answer is no; at least, not with your bare hands."

But, you gotta love the net, there is an AvPGalaxy fan website with a forum and this question is posed there. There are some interesting theories and observations about the topic there.

Sounds like something Mythbusters should've done. Wrap a skeleton in ballistics gel or some such.

@KatKomics Sorry for your disappointment. Maybe on your kills you can just settle for taking genitals, ears, digits, etc as trophies?

Anyone know if CBCS is at a convention and you have some CBCS graded book but you want to get the new case, can you take them in to the show and submit them that way for a reholder rather than shipping them into CBCS? Or do they only take raw comics at conventions to be slabbed later?

@Kinsella5 - I believe that you can submit anything to CBCS at a show that you could submit through the mail.

Thanks there is a comic show this weekend here and CBCS will be there. I have a few comics that I had graded back in 2019 but want the new case (and the yellow label on some red label books) so I thought perhaps I could save from shipping them and drop off at their booth. I will take them just in case, if not I can always ship them later. Thanks for the help too! :-)

Yes, Summer Con. I generally am an exhibitor at conventions so I rarely get to enjoy them from the fans perspective so this show I am doing just that and need to drop some stuff off to get graded and then get some stuff redone in the new cases.

Loki has me wondering, just how many times in Marvel comics has someone found out they were a robot and didn't know it?
Or is it just a Rick & Morty Beth clone reference?

Okay to get this pressed. It has a tear on the front left top side of the cover.
Asking this as I've never had a book pressed before.

@southerncross Yes, you can get it pressed though the tear will severely limit , if not negate, any kind of grade bump the book would get

@HotKeyComics long-running characters that ended up being robots? No idea but it would be worth following up on appearances of Life Model Decoys. There may be some there

@dielinfinite thanks, just didn't want the tear to get worse, just the interior pages and back cover would look better flat then their current wavy state.
