| @GAC Yeah. I can live with tbe grade. My whole point in buying the book was that it was the cheapest double cover I could find at the time. The book has no meaning or purpose beyond that. Yes. A waste of money, but it was cheap and I used the competitive upgrade at cgc since it was a pgx originally. |

| Arrggggghhhhh...putting together some books to send and what looked like 9.8's from the front when turned over had a crease in the same spot on 2 books (same books!) doesn't seem to be colour breaking? - we'll see what a press does...if not then the grades will tumble!!! - going straight to MCS anyway | ||

| I was thinking more about this grading competition at SDCC. I'm sure the judges are highly qualified (i.e. actual graders and/or lcs owners or employees). But my curiosity is more about what is allowed in it. For instance, can I rip a story line page out of the comic and grade it incomplete? | ||

| Why oh why did I only find my West Coast Avengers #45 now??!!! There was a table in front of lets say 6 to 8 shelves for years now so I haven't had access to those boxes -well - we are moving stuff around and cleaning stuff up so now I do and lo and behold a few days late and many dollars short -there was my 1st White Vision (news stand) tucked away to avoid the hype train!!! Oh well.....at least I have access to all books once more so if the hype train rolls into town I can sell off a raw book if need be!!! -come on Great Lakes Avengers!!!! |

| Ok... so here's something peculiar The snippet picture of Underdog #1 book is my book - raw and (I presumed) low grade due to the significant white blemishes/color removal from the front cover. Looks quite bad. Then I come across this CBCS book graded at 8.5 (pretty darn high grade) for sale that has similar (if not identical) blemishes/color removal and I think to myself "do all Underdog #1's have this and that's why it was graded at 8.5? So then I look at other Underdog #1's and they don't have the color removal/blemishes. So now I'm stumped. My question is the color removal from the cover normal for Underdog #1's and not counted against the grade of the book, OR, is the 8.5 take into consideration the color removal, OR was the book just not graded well? Thoughts?   |
