I buy these cases at harbor freight for around $20. It has padding that I use either add or remove to give the books a firm fit. I use it when I go to cons, buying books or taking books to sell. Not perfect but it works for me. I also keep my more expensive books in a jewelers safe. It weighs 900 lbs empty. I've had my books in it for 30 years and no issues with rust. I also carry insurance just for my books but with this market I'm going to have to increase the value

I’m curious to know the fundamental difference between a gun safe & a Jewelers safe as far as how they’re constructed?

I’m sure the packaging reads:

*Handcuffs not included.

@00slim I bought this safe in the late 80's. Think it was around 400 used from the green sheet (only old people will know what that is)before I moved I couldn't open the safe and had to replace the dial mechanism. The lock smith said he would have it replaced in less than 1/2 hour. 6 hrs later he finally got it opened. It holds 9 short boxes with enough room for loose slabs on top, about 8 riffles, a few pistols i keep cash
