@RexMuff nice mate. My wife goes to Alaska in 7 days for photography workshop.
Her hobby is more expensive than my comic book collecting.

Anyway she's not into hot and spicy so I'm going to go gun ho on indian cooking 👍

Thanks to @RexMuff I'm gonna do what he did (pictured above),.. with steamed broccoli florets and cracked wheat dinner rolls.

My sirloin will be somewhat less than 22oz though.

Meant to post 1st photo yesterday but got pressured😁😁 into going out for a few pints of the black nectar and well that was that. Sunday so naturally roast beef with roast spuds, veg and a thick onion gravy

So today was beef leftovers plus a few baby spuds steamed in their skins plus the rest

Got lazy, didn't cook tonight.
The wife is out at a photo workshop for a week.
My comic book collecting is way cheaper.

Anyway went out by myself for fine dinning. Haven't done this in years.

Part of the tomatoes for my 2nd batch of salsa!! Should get a 3rd batch too this year.

These are lovely Cosmonaut Volkov tomatoes...a ukranian heirloom variety with orange shoulders (part of the beefsteak family)

Late dinner tonight, and normally I would have this for breakfast.

3/4 cup of steamed rice.
5 eggs cooked over easy.
Saute onion.

Dump it all in a ceramic pie plate. Add a little butter, salt, and pepper. Mix it up and you're good to go.

One of my favorites.
