FedEx Canada - let the games begin!!!14312

Suck it up, buttercup!! KatKomics private msg quote post Address this user
So got the brokerage charges from FedEx but thankfully CBCS has included documentation stating "repair and return' and "returned to original owner"

Of course now they have bumped me to next level of "service" but also I can send scans/photos of documents to some e-mail.

Lets see how this plays out!!!

As an accountant I would like to point out that anything I send them now they have no way of proving I didn't just print/fabricate them myself -which is why they should look at the documentation attached to the package when they have it in hand - stupid m@&$% f^#$@'s

I had a feeling FedEx would be a problem, so I selected CanPar for my return shipment even though it's a few dollars more.

for this order I did direct to and from CBCS US....I would think FedEx from within Canada would have no issues!!

so 40 minutes or so and the charges are cleared!!

They said because it was returned with FedEx Commercial it gets an automatic clearance charge.
To which I responded - why would a commercial facility who is returning an owners own goods use anything other than the commercial service and shouldn't you have checked the actual documentation on the package to see that it was a duty free item??
Also, how can I control how an item is returned to me?

No real response other than - I can remove those fees for you!

Just a scam on their part to get extra $$

My company used to get charged extra $$ because the cardboard didn't meet the customers burst strength specs - even though the cardboard manufacturer certified that their boxes met all industry and safety standards - eventually the customer changed their specs (I'm sure were decades old) so no more extra $$ stream/pizza fund for them!!

Again - big shout out to CBCS for including the proper paper work and stamps stating returned items, repair and return, evaluation and return etc. etc.!!!

Makes going up against the FedEx'es of the world easier when you know you are in the right and have the documents to back it up!!!

@KatKomics good for you!! The push back I get from FedEx is not duty but brokerage fees!!! That's a tough fee to get removed.

@GAC this was the brokerage fee I got removed!

How can there be brokerage on a return item? They cam back with that BS that it was shipped with a Commercial account!! Just how is a business supposed to return an item then!!

@GAC Yup, I got the item, opened it, verified there is no duty owed as its your property being returned to you, tape it up, $25 please. I'm a broker!

That reminds me I have 2 invoices to try get cleared. Anyone have the contact? Last time I got the runaround before it was removed.

It took me four people and three calls to Comcast just to get a cable box replaced that wasn't working. I had already called them once before, so I'm on week three waiting on a replacement box for the one I'm still paying for that doesn't work. So, three people with one call isn't bad.

Ask for the MAG (if I remember correctly) office in Toronto when you call or ask to have them call you back.

The managers in that office can make adjustments, most of the other customer service people are mainly data entry. I use a post office box for my eBay purchases so there is no chance of a fedex delivery.

noooooo.....will try to be delicate but I have a feeling my moms side of the family had the right idea in the 1770's when they moved up here!

When the border opens again I do enjoy crossing to use my US postal service and circumvent all these FedEx games as well as ordering from people who don't ship to Canada and of course concerts etc. at Art Park and guilty pleasures at Mighty Taco!!
