| @xkonk I was using to context of “if I acquired it today, somehow”. Like, I’d have to have acquired it some other way: found in a garage sale collection purchase, or something. If I was already wealthy? I might consider keeping it. |

| Since the mid eighties when Action 1 broke the records and sold for 50 k and then soon after so did Cap 1, people have speculated the market for rare comics would come crashing in , and to this day they just keep building on that .....I think they are just getting started actually and will be amused to see what the future holds. I am glad to live in a time when people are realizing the rarity and demand for these old comic books and that they are gaining their spot in the sun..... Also rather certain that other hobbies that have seen exponential growth are fairly safe and have been over the years, be it stamps, rare paintings, or baseball cards. They all went far past comics into the stratosphere for pricing years ago, and they continue to do so. |
