@southerncross - That Captain Marvel #1 was one of my favorite covers on the wall of my LCS when I was a yute.

This issues is so hard to find without a lot of visible color breaks, so when I saw this one I grabbed it to replace my beat up copy.

Some MK variants, including a con exclusive (I do have a weakness for Moon Knight!).

And my two biggest purchases of the show....normally I wouldn't buy an ASM of such a low grade, but with the way prices are lately I went for it. Besides, there was only one or two other high grade copies there, and I wasn't ready to shell out that much cash. The SS #1 finishes off my '68 first issues collection.

That tales of Asgard is an often overlooked but quite amazing comic...as it collects all the back up tales told in the thor journey into mystery run ...to get them otherwise costs a fortune..black cover too. Tough book

I don't have any high priced issues left to get either, but I would love to replace my first boba fett. I must have read it like a 100 times when I was a wee lad, it's pretty worn!

I FINALLY got these two back! I submitted these back in January. They finished grading back in April but ended up going back through as a reholders to correct an issue on the labels that I noticed before they shipped and they only now were complete.

I don't buy graded books often but I won this at auction for $22 shipped. Other raw copies on ebay start at like $85 and go up from there

That absolute carnage 1 looks amazing, definitely a great artist doing that sketch

@Sebastsk8 Thanks! The artist did a warm-up illustration that I bought from him as well

In that case, you should see my favorite symbiote sketch in my collection

Sharp is up there with Bagley for me as a definitive Venom artist. He didn't do many issues but I loved how he made Venom this giant, vicious beast, which is what it felt he was meant to be

It depends, I appreciate the venomized hulk look but the slimmer agent venom and more recent cates/stegman venom look is nice too. Bagleys venom definitely was my favorite, it tended to look a little more animated which fit well.

As far as carnage...I love the absolute carnage style. Much darker and more evil design matched kassadys personality better. Made him truly look like the mass murdering psycho that he is.

I'm going to have a couple sketches done at baltimore comiccon, still figuring out exactly what artists I want...which isn't easy since they keep adding more like each week lmao. My asm 700 skyline is going to be adding somewhere around 15 sigs from that con alone lol.

I was also surprised to find some early Tales to Astonish. I have six left in my collection with three or four I may want to replace. I was very happy with the #36, such nice color.
