| @Puckster, I was off work for a couple of days for my anniversary and I went to several comic shops and a lot of antique stores. Every antique store had some comics, even some I might've been interested in but they were all, without exception, overpriced. So, Kudos to you for finding a diamond in the rough. | ||

Score at work. Great color with plenty of room to look better. The next one is my first MCS auction win. I couldn't find the defects that earned this a 4.0 as long as I looked. Scans suck. I don't care if they are bagged or unbagged. I took er out and found a .75 inch tear up by Namor's head upper left corner. It goes into the the first page as well. If "way off white" isn't a label color it should be. What can I say, it's a show'er, not a grow'er....  |

Found these two in the shop yesterday and had to pick them up. The Frontier Romances 1 is a little out of my regular wheelhouse, but the condition on it is amazing. Whitest pages I've ever seen on a book from the '50s. The Shadow is no slouch either (pun intended) - plenty of gloss still on the cover, which is in really nice shape for being one of those war-rationed single-staple jobs.  |
