| I’m not surprised. I just got a postponement for Texas Frightmare on Friday. As much of a bummer as it is, a lot of creators and celebrities for any of those conventions are older and probably higher risk. Like as bad as I want Alice Coopers autograph, I don’t blame him one bit for not wanting to be nears hundreds/ thousands of strangers with the current situation happening. And I’d hate if he got something and died. However, it appears there is a light at the end of the tunnel, so conventions will be coming back. |

| HeroesCon will be held this year, June 18-20. We should reach significant herd immunity by then, given the Biden administration's aggressive vaccination goals and rollout. Perhaps the biggest hurdle over the summer, vaccination-wise, will be the people who don't want it? Or resist getting it, or are hard to reach, for whatever reason. But the convention will be held in Charlotte this summer, and it is a great one if you've never been. Guests this year so far include: Jae Lee Bridget Connell Don Rosa Joe Staton Brian Stelfreeze Mark Ward Neal Adams Michael Cho Bob McLeod Mike McKone Bill Amend Mark Bagley (Get those UF4's signed!) | @Tedsaid I may be reading way too much into it, but I think what you just posted is the key. There may be more of an appetite for convention goers to start attending conventions than there is for the celebrities to go for autographs, pictures and such. However, June is a long way off, so here’s hoping. |
