got my bag a week ago?? Looks great!!! can't wait for a convention to actually use this!! (so like 2022 for me!!!)

I can see why it's on clearance though...a very niche product...good for convention goers though!!!

I am hopeful that this will save my shoulders a bit and keep my books safe from potential knocks and dings....think I can either clip or otherwise attach my little folding camp stool to this too...no more sitting on floors for me....like a king I will be!!!

I have one when it first came out and it is great. Recommend. Was able to use to use at the convention pre-covid and came in handy. Able to store and carry all my books securely and easy access to them to take out for signatures.

I got mine over the weekend. Pretty nice for cons.

A little too snug for 11 x 17, so I will bring my portfolio for OAs.

Thanks for the tip

I don’t know why I didn’t think to look but it looks like they also have the limited edition version for an extra $15.. This version is no longer for sale on the HEX site and is $160 on Sideshow.com. The pictures on the site are terrible but its the one with the bolder yellow Batman art and the Batarang-shaped zipper pulls and is apparently limited to 500 units.

I did look and this one wasn’t listed so it must be a new to the site.

I actually coincidentally ordered one of these from Sideshow on Monday. I had some points to use that knocked $30 off + free shipping.

Mine will be delivered tomorrow.

I’ve had my eye on one of these for a long time. I finally treated myself cuz the tax man was actually nice to us this year.

I’m glad I did, cuz I wanted the standard one without the graphic & they’re now out of stock.

I would be very interested in this backpack. I’m a true fan of comics and having something like this in my collection would be a great addition. The backpack looks pretty big, I believe you could fit a lot of stuff inside, so that’s very convenient for me. Do you know with Nordstrom has any kind of discounts, because I assume this is pretty expensive. I always try to shop at sales, because it just makes me happier when I get stuff for nice deals. Recently, I was looking for beautiful backpacks for women and ended up getting a very nice backpack for a great price online. Anyways, I’m happy for your acquisition.

Both backpacks are currently 1/2 price on Nordstrom Rack seems a good price if you're looking to pick one up.

@Murmonster lol That’s the deal this thread was announcing. Half off MSRP is what Nordtrom’s Rack has been selling them for but thanks for the bump in case anyone else is interested

@dielinfinite I see that now I more replied for @WillIm's benefit did not look at your first post.
Thinking of picking up 1 of each myself.
I see that these have recently sold on Ebay for over $100 the buyers must not be doing any research.

I picked mine up several weeks ago. The genious artist daughter that I bought it for looked it over and turned it down. My moron soon looked it over and said "cool, it has dividers! That will make me organized, I'll take it!" And so the child who typically would be happy operating out of a single Pee-Chee now has the the Jim Lee Hex Bag specially designed for artists and collectors.

Looks like the Limited Version is now Sold Out

@EbayMafia I wonder if your daughter would prefer the artist bag over the collector’s bag. Unfortunately, I haven’t found that one at a discount

@EbayMafia

What's a pee-chee?

And doesn't the favoritism hurt the family dynamics?

@Bronte

As for the dynamic, The boy has always been involved in sports and recieved the lions share of our time and attention. The girl grew up feeling overshadowed by everyone always wanted to talk about him and his sports. They literally are like stereo-types, he's all physical oriented and she's all cerebral and creative. So we always try to acknowledge that she's the smart and creative one. At least enough to get him to show her due respect.

@Bronte I knew you were about the family dynamic, not so much about Pee-chees. I guess we have to add "lol" to everything that shouldn't be taken at face value. But then that kind of ruins the humor sometimes.

People in my real life say I'm very hard to decipher because I don't smile. I say everything with a dry almost monotone voice.

I remember a psychiatrist told me he wouldn't accept me as a volunteer because I needed to get a sense of humor.
