Finally got around to watching Russian Doll on Netflix. Another "Groundhog Day" type show or movie, which there seems to be a bunch of lately. It was good. Short series of 8 episodes, which around 30 minutes an episode, so not a big time investment.

I still need to watch “Falcon and the Winter Soldier”.

My wife watches true crime stuff on a daily basis. It’s a little unsettling. Makes ya wonder if she’s plotting something.

That said, I’ve started watching “Fear Thy Neighbor” on Discovery+ with her. It’s fascinating to see where people choose to escalate instead of defuse a situation. To see where exactly things really go wrong.

I’m two episodes in & I find myself wondering why people don’t knock on their neighbor’s door and just ASK “what do we have to do to fix this”?

Man, there are Seven seasons of this show. Seven seasons of feuding neighbors deciding violence, if not straight up murder, is the solution. People be crazy.

@00slim My wife and I love true crime! We watch Forensic Files and Unsolved Mysteries etc. all the time.

TFAWS is pretty great I must say...first two episodes I really enjoyed.

People ARE crazy unfortunately and crazy people stories are usually what's filmed, documented, broadcast, reported because it is fascinating but I have to believe they represent a minority because if not...God help us all!! lol!!!

@GAC I do recommend “Joe Kenda: Homicide Hunter” on Prime.

The guy has solved hundreds of Murder cases & each episode focuses on one of his cases. He just has this calm, matter-of-fact way of talking about the cases. He has the look of a man who has seen everything & now, nothing shocks him.

Thank you guys for the many great suggestions of shows and flix!!
Here's one that's pretty cool. I've just started watching the 3rd season of Final Space. It's a funny little Sci-Fi cartoon. I think it's on TBS.

So I decided to watch Flash on the CW tonight. It reminds me of the bad sci-fi shows from the 90's and Power Rangers. The thing is, I somewhat enjoyed those shows.

Now it's Supergirl on the CW. I see Lex Luther, but I hear Alan Harper, so my mind sees a bald and bearded Alan. LOL

@GAC That movie was great.

Side note: they really had to go out of their way to make Lena Headey unattractive.

Great film indeed!! Its a shame it didn't do better business at the box office. I hope there'll be a sequel.

I just finished up Assassination Classroom. Started the Promised Neverland last night. So far really good. Also with the GF, watching The Goldbergs, Invincible, Undone, Falcon nd Winter soldier. Every night I fall asleep to Futurama. That about sums it up. Oh and My Hero Academia, season 5

Futurama, best, funniest animated show ever! 0h, and I dig Assassination Classroom and My Hero Academia. I'm older but my adult sons watch Anime as they grew up watching it.

Just watched the Liam Neeson movie ‘Honest Thief’ (2020) on Amazon Prime.

I’d say the character development was above average for this type of movie. The love story was perhaps a bit too sappy for its own good.

But overall, not a bad one-time watch. I wouldn’t add it to my library, or anything.

I watched "The Trial of the Chicago 7" last night on Netflix. Really enjoyed it. Well written and well acted. Sacha Baron Cohen is excellent as Abby Hoffman. And Aaron Sorkin sure has some great movies as writer or director, such as: A Few Good Men, Social Network, Moneyball, Molly's Game and The West Wing as a TV show. Pretty talented guy.

That was good. Aaron Sorkin has that trademark clever dialogue/witty banter thing...you can recognize his work in about 5 minutes of watching anything he did.

I'm watching "The White Tiger" on Neflix. So far it's well worth watching. Probably inspired by Slumdog Millionaire in some way, it's about India's Caste society and one poor young mans ability to rise through it. And the best part, it's not in sub-titles.

I got my second COVID vaccination and was out for about 30 hours. I watched Tina, the documentary about her life. I don't remember a lot of it as I was in and out. However, the clip of her walking with her husband and Oprah to the premiere of her play on Broadway made me realize something. Tina Turner is one of the few people alive that can stand next to Oprah and people not notice that Oprah is there.
