Is there a better Christmas movie than Christmas Story? Like for multiple viewings year after year?

Then I’ll bet you didn’t know that the man who voiced Hermey the Elf in Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (1964) was also the voice of Peter Parker and Spider-Man in the 1966 cartoon series.

Just finished “Hawkeye” on Disney +. That show was pure joy. More Kate Bishop, now, please.

Watched Matrix 4 last night. I enjoyed the first half. The second was just a sloppy, overblown mess. 4/10

‘My Cousin Vinny’ (1992) is on T.V.. I have it on blu-ray, yet, here we are watching it with commercials. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Still. Brilliant movie.

I just found out the same Director (Jonathan Lynn) made ‘The Whole Nine Yards’ (2000). Which I hold as one of the funniest movies I’ve ever seen.

Watching Reno911! marathon. Just made me laugh out loud. Cop picked up a medical transplant Liver from the airport. Drove off with the ice chest on the trunk of the car. Then ran over the Liver when she backed up.

Finished up What If last night. I enjoyed most of it. I did not care for how they portrayed Thor in the couple episodes. Really liked the Dr. Strange episode.

Don't Look Up on Netflix is one of the better movies I've seen in a long time. I know it has political undertones (Asteroid as metaphor for Global Warming) but it was not heavy handed or contrived. Did a nice job of lampooning all sides. It was clever, funny and enjoyable to watch with some really big name actors.

Finished Hawkeye. I thought it was very good. I enjoyed it far better than Falcon and winter soldier. My brother who will sleep through anything that doesn't hold his attention. Only nodded off once. Had to rewatch episode 3 because of that but binged through the rest of the season.

Watched Hawkeye over the course of a few days. First episode was a bit slow but felt the pacing improved after that. I like Hailee Steinfeld in the stuff I've seen her in. She had great chemistry with Jeremy Renner.

Also watched the first episode of Boba Fett. It was more interesting to me than I expected and am far more intrigued in the flashback sequences. I don't want to say too much in case others haven't seen it but it was well done even if I have plot hole questions now.

Watched All Madden last night as well. Great documentary about the late, great John Madden. I admit that I was never a big Madden fan as an analyst but he truly enjoyed the game and his passion for it was infectious.
