| Half way through Black Widow. So far it is really exceeding my expectations of mediocrity. What I mean is it is extremely mediocre. Some of it cringe-bad. Some just bad. Some decent. The internal inconsistency is really appalling, however. I never expect realism in superhero movies (of course). But within the defined universe I need a little to maintain tension… how “normal” human characters walk off impacts and falls like they do… I enjoyed Bourne movies (pushes this) and Nolan’s Batman (pushes this, less so). But this - my wife and I exchanged “wtf???” glances too many times… and we are only half way through. Edit: finished second half. Worse than first half. C+ |
