GL wasn't that bad. They only Jim Carey movie worth wasting time on is Bruce Almighty.

The Andy Kauffman one was good too

I was pretty disappointed with HBO's teen titans show "Titans" after 4 episodes. Someone here said that it gets better so I'm giving it another shot and it does get better. The second half of season 1 is much better than the first half.

Don’t forget about ‘Liar, Liar’ & ‘The Truman Show’.

@00slim doesn't that show have the lead actor that was also in Deadwood?

@southerncross Yes, Titus Welliver. I dig this show, it's like a drug. Bosch is my 2nd favorite police drama next to The Wire.

On Episode 4 of Titans now. I like it so far so I'm looking forward to it getting even better. The last two non-animated shows I tried watching are Mare of Easttown which is god awful and Clickbait which is even a bigger dumpster fire, so I feel spoiled watching Titans at the moment.

"Dawn of the Dead" (2004)
"Digital Man"

EDIT: "Digital Man" was very weak, but the first 2 movies were fun to watch.

I've been binge watching The Expanse (one season at a time, finished the first two, starting season 3 now). Just could not get into this series when it first aired because there were too many divergent subplots to build interest in the characters and stay connected watching from week to week. Catching this series one episode at a time, it has a "meanwhile, back at the space station" feel to it.

With 5 full seasons on Amazon Prime and starting from scratch the serialized story arcs mesh together into a much more engaging plot, it's characters easier to follow. It rarely feels over the top. From my perspective, the trick to appreciating The Expanse is watching a full season at a time if you can set aside the time for it. Top notch FX, ...with serious attention paid to the science of space travel (most of the time).

Yesterday after watching "Jason and the Argonauts", it got my juices flowing for more of the same classic genre.

Today's movie menu....

"The Sword and the Sorcerer" (1982)
"Clash of the Titans" (1981)
"The Golden Voyage of Sinbad" (1974)
