@Murmonster, Thanks for the spoilers dude! LOL

Agreed, the cinematography and the acting are amazing. the best part is the Movie holds up because there were no dated million dollar special effects. I forgot to mention it's based on a Steven King novel.

@sportshort Too funny I didn’t want to be too descriptive on my response as to provide spoilers then I thought this movie is almost 40 years old does the no spoilers rule even still apply?

The Thing - another one of my all time favorites. This is a movie I definitely watch every time I’m able to!

@Pre_Coder
Yeah man, glad to help! Again, another film I just know I’m going to watch whenever I’m able to catch it. Doesn’t matter if it’s from the beginning or an hour into the story everything grinds to a stop just to watch this. Just watched it last night as a matter of fact! Lmao!

To those that have watched.....what's your thoughts on Natural Born Killers?

For me, I watched this film in the theatre (original release). I was (and I think still am) a big Oliver Stone fan. I know he takes historic liberties but he makes very entertaining films in my opinion. I feel his films are well shot, entertaining narratives and important subject matters (embellished or not).

I remember when I saw Natural Born Killers in theaters thinking how absolutely over the top it was. It was not subtle at all. The point he was trying to make was delivered like a sledge hammer. I enjoyed the film at the time, I was 23 and full of piss and vinegar as they say.I haven't watched it since then and I'm curious how I will receive this film today in todays climate.

Man, I haven’t seen NBK in forever! Totally agree about your sledgehammer analogy there. What an amazing film. 😎👍🏻

If you like powerhouse acting and dialogue watch Glengarry Glen Ross it’s simply amazing. Not for the kids though lots of profanity.

I don't think it does. It was actually more funny cause most (if not all) of the "spoilers" are in the trailer. lol

Glengarry Glen Ross is absolutely brilliant! I've watched this film probably more than 25 times. It's an actors film and immensely quotable. David Mamet was at the top of his game in this film even though it's an adaptation of his play.

Did you know that Alec Baldwin's character was completely new to the film and never a part of David Mamet's play? Its important because Alec Baldwin's scene in the movie is absolutely brilliant!!

@GAC I did not know that about AB’s part but for the 5 to 10 minutes of screen time he had he absolutely killed it. Jack Lemmon’s nighttime sales pitch in the rain was so cringe worthy I felt secondhand embarrassment just watching it.

I saw this on too, and immediately had the Stones playing in my head. It also made me think of another GREAT movie...

@Zombiebigfoot I've got a set of Benny Hill dvd's that I pull out and watch every now and then. Some of the bits are dated, but there are some skits that just make me roar with laughter!!

My next entry would have been The Thing (masterpiece) but others beat me to it. So I am changing gears and veering into comedy. One of the greatest, if not the greatest, comedy movie of all time is The Marx Brothers "A Night at the Opera". This movie was released in 1935 and is amazingly funny. you actually have to keep up with the comedy as at times it comes fast and furious. Need a laugh? this is the move for you.

Tried to watch Tenet on the plane, even with headphones I had to give up. I notice that now I am older I have a hard time picking up dialog in a modern, noisy soundtrack in a lot of movies. We need theaters again.
Falling Down, one of my all time favorites. Loved Barfly too, as somehow they stole scenes from my life for the movie.

@doog Tenet was nice to watch but left me unsatisfied. Practically all of Nolan's movies have some important point to make and I got nothing from that one.

Agree that it started strong and got slow, but I loved how it ended. Yeah, makes you wonder how many elderly are getting scammed like this.
