Scream 2.

They were doing a marathon on TV & the wife wanted to watch this one from the beginning.

It’s better than I remember, but I still prefer the original.

@Frontier2Xterra I didn't realise they did extended versions, are they much different. I shall have to see if I can find them, mind you the one I watched last night was over 3 hours ?

@no1lufcfan the extended editions are about 20-25 more minutes on each movie. Not really any different but more scenes and better flow IMO.

Watched Jupiter's Legacy with my daughter. We both thought it committed the ultimate sin of being BOOORRING! Will absolutely not watch a second season if one is ever unfortunately made.
Re-watching and binging Breaking Bad, one of the best shows ever made. In part what makes it great is you literally despise almost every character in the show. (Except maybe Hank) Several women I work with, as well as my wife, all say they detest Skyler, the wife, which surprised me.

Breaking Bad deserves every accolade its given especially for using Badfinger's solid gold hit, Babyblue as the key ending song for the series....perfection done to an extreme

Latest classic movie I watched was "Adam's Rib". I give a D+. Honestly didn't realize until after the movie was over that it was supposed to be a comedy. Either way, it fell flat for me. Regarded as the best of the movies that Tracy & Hepburn did together and even nominated for an Academy award. Guess it was OK in 1949, but don't think it holds up. Hopefully the next classic movie I watch is better.

tried watching loki but it destroys the marvel universe so i didn't finish the first episode

it invalidates every action the heroes and villians have ever taken or will ever take. do something that isn't part of the single time line and the time authority fixes it. meaning free will doesn't exist. All the choices and sacrifices in the MCU up to this point have been completely meaningless because they could not happen and other way than they way they did. It almost made the Dr. Strange looking at all the possible outcomes of Thanos keeping the Infinity gauntlet pointless

#spoilers

Anywho, wasn't that all established already? There was a whole discussion with the Ancient One and whatnot. There's a timeline and you can't change the timeline or else bad things happen, which is why they had to jump through all the hoops they did in Endgame.

I suspect they’ll address this directly in the show at some point.

I didn't take it that way. I didn't see it as impossible to diverge from the designated timeline. Just that there is a very powerful force (The Authority) who is working to keep any divergence from happening.

Watched Shadow and Bone on Netflix with the wife. The first couple episodes are slow because of all the world-building/stage-setting, but it was enjoyable once they got into the plot. It's in the fantasy YA genre.

Latest old movie I watched was Key Largo. I'm a really big Humphrey Bogart fan, so a bit surprising that I never got around to watching this one. Not bad, but it's no Casablanca or Maltese Falcon, if I'm comparing it to other Bogart movies.

The wife was in the mood for classic Horror & it doesn’t get more classic than the 1931 original.
