| I wasn't a fan of her as Mystique, but then again I thought those Xmen films were not that good either. Like @Siggy said, Marvel made us forget about Chris Evan's Johnny Storm. I'm confident they will make us forget about Mystique. It'll be interesting how Marvel decides to portray Sue Storm. Im also looking forward for Marvel to do the Xmen justice so I can forget about Singer's version. |

| I don't mind her. I think she's a better actor than Alba, that's for sure. Do I think she's a great actor? No. But I certainly don't loathe her. Will she make a good Sue Storm? Maybe, maybe not. I can think of worse choices (cough*Alba*cough).  |

Her Mystique was terrible and a huge screw up by Fox to make her a pivotal character. Leader of the Xmen? Charles adolescent crush? That Mystique was nothing like the comics. | ||

| I think she's been fine in the movies I've seen her in. Mystique in the 'first class' movies was obviously completely different from Mystique in the comics, or even the first three movies, so you have to evaluate the character on its own terms. Getting a reasonably engaging story is going to be just as important as the actors. | ||

| I’m convinced making a truly great FF live action movie is an extremely difficult proposition. Multiple tries have left us with mediocre, at best. If it can be done (I hope it can) the MCU Team will do it. I personally don’t think Lawrence is the right call for Susan Storm. |

| @moodswing It took me awhile to find it. I was actually running while it popped up on my phone. It's from Movieweb. Upon further reading now; although the headline alludes to Feige nixing it; he didn't really flat out say that. The article goes on to say that casting discussions haven't even begun. So that's kinda not the same thing. | ||
