I am anxiously waiting for a Get Rid of the Rivets promotion where they would re-slab books in the infamous rivet slabs at a huge discount (maybe 1/2 off?). I can dream, can't I?

I have 6-8 set aside to send down. Maybe a fast pass on pressing too.

Yes!! $5 reholdering fee instead of $10...win/win...clients get the awesome new slabs with great labels and CBCS gets those labels off the market...I say Do it CBCS!!!

To tell the truth about the rivet labels is crazy.

We had a nice label, but my ex-partner did not like it and wanted to change it, I did not.

So...I had back surgery (out for two weeks) and then, right after, we had a death in our family and I had to take more time off. During that time, he changed the label to the rivet one thinking that the rivets would seem like "bolts of protection". Yeah, right.

To say I was upset once I returned to work is quite an understatment!

I will float the idea of a re-holder promotion at my next meeting and see where we land.
END OF RANT

The rivets never bothered me until I read that just now. Knowing someone saw them that way has made me dislike them.

SpongeBob Comics #1 sells for $991! Joosh private msg quote post Address this user
I bought my ASM300 in a rivet labeled holder. It has since been reholdered, lol.
Thanks @sborock for clearing that up!

Have to stop looking though boxes to find books to send in!!

10 contenders right now but would like to drop that to 6 or 8, not sure I could do only 5.

This time around they will be I think all for the PC rather than to send to MCS and nothing is flip worthy so even though I would like to try fast press I will give it a pass!

Shoot!! Forgot to put the code in for the promo.....I haven't packaged anything yet - is there a way to cancel this order?? maybe a way for someone @Darryl_H to apply the code to my order before I package and mail in??

Should I just re-enter on a new order and this old one will time out???

Order 20-0771792

also forgot to mention that the Plastic Man book is a double cover...would I enter that in the "variant" field??

@KatKomics Just write it on your invoice, they'll add it on. I'm sure they'll notice the double cover, too.

Would be nice to have a pressing promo thrown in to stack. I wasn't able to send any in the last time when that happened.

I thought I would have a hard time cutting my submission down but once you start to see total invoice $$ take shape all of a sudden I could choose which 6 to send (instead of 10!!)

No joke! I want to get some of my higher end books done so of course it's a little more expensive. Add in the pressing on each and yeah, I'm done at 5.

Six books on their way to the CBCS Canada office -who knows how long it will take but none of these would be considered a quick flip and only the Sub Mariner and Plastic Man will likely go for sale...maybe the Teen Titans #1 - this is my best copy (of 3) but if I can sell a few other books I might go for a 9.0

On the fence about selling the PM#4 - got this double cover in the wild by accident - purchased 8 books (was after only 1 of them - not the PM4) and this was part of the deal - don't think they knew it was a double cover. Even though it is a nothing book I know there are people who go after double covers and since it is from 1967 there are probably very few of these - should grade high going to guess 9.4 outer and 9.8 inner? - who knows..maybe in a year when I get these back I'll decide to keep it just for the oddity that it is!

Showcase 55
Showcase 59
Showcase 75
Sub-Mariner 5
Teen Titans 1
Plastic Man 4 (double cover)
