@conditionfreak KILLER choice on that Showcase Dolphin. As a fiend of GA GGA that book became one one of my all-time fave SA books.I can imagine that one on a Fiction House cover.

@Foghorn_Sam Ain't that utter insanity? So much of 60s-70s kiddie entertainment was pure lunacy that would never make the cut today but it was the greatest thing in the world for me. If it was possible to wear out YouTube I would have done it already from rewatching all of my childhood goodies. BTW, my uncle (well, my dad's pal) that used to train the animals for TV was a blast. He had a convertible that would have been a head-turner in Hollywood anyway but he trained his Golden Retriever to sit in the driver's seat. He'd get put away for it nowadays but, for kicks, he used to cruise around the 405 with the dog at the wheel while he would be riding shotgun innocuously reaching his feet to the pedals, and steering by holding the bottom of the wheel. Damn, thinking about that now...that was some seriously dangerous $#!7! But he loved the reactions he got. |

@Offbeat_Archives Ha, I laughed harder today watching this than I did when I first watched it when I was 10 years old. Lancelot Link and George of the Jungle were the bomb back in the day!
