Hello, Newbie here! I dove back in my collection lately and decided it is time I get some of them slabbed. About to submit my first submission! Trying to convince myself I have watched enough "how to package your comics for submission" videos... I was wondering how you think this issue of Batman Long Halloween would get. There is a slight color breaking fold top left back cover, which also slightly affected the pages inside. I know pressing wont fix the color break, but do you think it would fix the inner pages? thanks for your help |

A press should fix the inner pages. They don't look that bad and a press will help them. The cover as you said won't fix a color break but it would help the overall look of the book. Have fun with your submission. Its exciting none the less lol | ||

welcome to the boards @Gridwalker !! That black back cover is a killer...I think those colour breaking creases would drop it to 8.5 range FYI, The Overstreet guides to grading are good resources (multiple editions) but I've also found this website to be fairly good too!! https://comicbookgradingtool.com/ it has example of all sorts of flaws that you choose and it calculates the grade based on those |

I will definitely check the grading tool link. so... if this is a 8.5, I might have to reconsider sending it for slabbing. Still, trying to sort out which books to send for my first submission. I might post a few more grading help posts! Thanks for the reply guys. |
