It's like the Roach Motel for comic collectors. chester15 private msg quote post Address this user
If you go to the search box at the top left and search for "polybag", Google will show you previous topics where someone asked the same question. Probably a thousand times by now. It can't get any easier. Always search first.

@jddtjd123 just a heads-up, I'm almost positive that CBCS will NOT grade that comic. You might want to email customer service.

I had and sold the book myself. The cover is so explicit there is no way CBCS or CGC will grade it. PGX Im not sure about.

CBCS will NOT grade that book. CGC is very unlikely as well.

PGX might, though. You’d have to e-mail them to find out for sure.

Had to look that up - I'm not so up to date - but really they should grade this - art is art.

Maybe you should visit the RESTRICTIONS area of the GRADING AND CERTIFICATION PROCESS page. It states

"CBCS reserves the right to not certify certain comic books, including those that contain content that we consider "questionable," or that depicts sexual situations involving minors. This is at our discretion, and our judgement is not debatable.

Personally, I find it humorous that Larsen had to draw that to get some interest/press going for his comic. How the mighty have fallen.

LOL - come on it's all in fun. Fallen?! What?! We got all kinds of characters art should represent. It's all kinda soft porn - everybody in tights. Humorous - and you are so above it. We should start 'cancelling' some artists - burn some comics! Bring back the government code on comics! Free the comics.

Naw, I just happen to read the rules that CBCS has for the service they offer. Everything else is irrelevant.

Sometimes I wonder if a statement is serious of if it's a joke that's going over my head. That's like buying a Hustler magazine and keeping it in the polybag.

@robo Saying "I don't care to participate" is not the same as saying "cancel and burn it". You got from point A to point B way too fast. Ironically, it's that thought process that causes people who don't care to participate to say "if that's not good enough for you, then cancel and burn it".
Notice what you did here, you posted a picture with the intention of forcing everyone to participate whether they want to or not. CBCS not wanting to participate is not forcing their will on anyone. You're the one forcing your will on someone else.
By the way, when someone says that they don't want to participate and you push back basically it's saying "no, you must participate...you have to show that you're one of us, otherwise there's something wrong with you...if you don't participate you're violating my freedoms." A whole lot of the bad in history has started with exactly that attitude.

No worries, I was talking smack - likely I'm over sensitive but was also trying to be funny. A balance I doubt I express well. Always like to error on the side of everyone doing their thing, free expression and all that - though I don't always wanna look at it. Judging and censorship is a slippery slope - and well that cover is just an artist having some fun. Today's book burners are the quote cancel culture and they are destroying near every they get their hands on. But what the hell do I really know? Cheers

@robo I figured you and I share a "live and let live" view of society. Where we may differ slightly is I believe there should be some reasonable orderly separations in society. I believe adult oriented things should be something you choose to find intentionally, they shouldn't be thrust in front of you when you're walking your 10 year old daughter through a comic book convention.
