@moodswing yes but not the same version we are used to.

So, I need to back and rewatch days of future past and apocalypse, but I think we see a younger Wanda in that movie.

But, that reveal is either a funny wink to Pietros weird cinematic history or the opening to the multiverse and an easy way to bring mutants into the fold.

Either way, the last two episodes have been pretty solid.

Did anyone else notice the “screen” or barrier when Wanda left after confronting SWORD?

I swear that was a face?

My wild ass guess is Dormammu.

Wanda seemed surprised by him, too.

Mephisto or Dormammus work?

@Jabberwookie

Some think Nightmare and Chthon could be involved. I had heard a rumor of a "luke skywalker" ending. I still hope for Mephisto. If there is indeed a "luke skywalker" ending, I would think we are getting Magneto or Prof X.

I hope not. It removes drama from Infinity War (the MCU's best film).

My brother thinks Wanda will have to choose between the Vision or the twins.

She is not in control but will have enough power in the end to keep either(but not both) alive when the show concludes.

Vision will choose the twins, as he should, and will help Wanda make that painful choice.

So, I think we agree that Wanda is in control of Westview but not in complete control. Do we agree that the interfering entity is known to Wanda or is she in the dark like the audience? If its known to Wanda are they in partnership or opponents?

When strange things happen Wanda sometimes acts as if nothing happened at all (re: Agnes/twins/Vision) and other times appears genuinely surprised/confused (Pietro showing up). Is she acting surprised/confused?

I'm wondering if it's the mind stone that's doing it? Maybe she resurrected it along with Vision?

I keep racking my brain on Wanda history, and there's a bunch of possibilities here. If they go the Avengers disassembled route, she's doing it but not fully aware.

The only issue there is that MCU Wanda doesn't have all the scars the comic Wanda had.

My guess up to this point is she's controlling it, but there are breakdowns in her control (Pietro, Vision snapping out of it, etc...)

Maybe Mephisto does or has come in after the birth of the twins to get back the pieces of his soul, like in the comics, but there hasn't been much ground laid for that, yet.

After missing last week, caught up on the last two. It seems pretty clear that Wanda is doing everything, but even she isn't sure how. I think her power is limited though, and that's why people further away from her in town are just frozen or in those little loops.

My guess for what happens to Vision: I hope he makes it, because I like Paul Bettany. And if they want to go that route, they've already established that Wanda is permanently changing things and the effect lasts outside of the barrier. But I could also see not.

I'm curious as to who Pietro is exactly. Wanda treats him as being 'her' Pietro, but Evan Peters is acting much more like 'his' Pietro. He also seems very aware of what's going on; he's barely acting like he belongs to the town. He did say that the last thing he remembers is being gunned down in the street though, which is what happened to MCU Pietro. So maybe Wanda did 'recast' him, by pulling Fox Pietro into MCU Pietro's body or something?

On the topic of Pietro, I felt like they emphasized saying kick-ass. I wonder if that was a shout-out to Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

I have a lot of catching up to do with all the theories and I am a noob in regards to Wanda/Vision but I did grab this comic today and loved all the little similarities to the show. Which made me wonder if we’ll see Simon Williams (Wonderman) (who apparently was supposed to be Nathan Fillion at one point?)

Didn't the Twins die in the comics and then later resurface.. I wonder when this all comes tumbling down if only the actual living people will be left and the Twins, Vision and Pietro will all disappear And what's happening with Monica is she turning into Photon every time she passes through the "Hex"
And what about the Captain Marvel snub.. Is a show down on the way..
I also see there weaving a web like what led up to the Avengers End Game.. little bits and pieces in all the separate flic's Thor, Guardians, Spiderman, Winter Soldier and Falcon, Black Panther, the new Avengers, Etc.... I wonder if the Eternals and the X-Men will be involved.. Woops I just remembered Magneto is coming to save Wanda.. ... Ooo..Ooo.. Ooo... And who is the Skrull in all of this.. I Know their hiding somewhere.... And the "Worm Turns"

If anything it sure has a lot of people Talking and speculating.. ..What Fun.. ..

In the comics, the twins were thought to be two lost pieces of Master Pandemonium's soul. In reality, they were part of Mephisto left over from when Franklin Richards zapped him into nothingness in FF 277 and Mephisto was just using Pandemonium to track them down. I never really understood that since the twins were created with magic the Scarlet Witch acquired from the 665 witches in New Salem. So, I'm not sure how Mephisto was able to lay claim to it when it didn't originate from him in the first place.

And then, from what I gather from Wikipedia, the pieces went back out into new bodies that grew up to be Young Avengers Speed and Wiccan. Comics, right?

Her appearance was spoiled a long time ago. There are leaked images of her in a full on witches coven type scene. I assume there has to be someone else behind her still. At least I hope so.

We’re catching up, two episodes behind & most of the way through episode 6.

The sitcom stuff is (in my opinion) “Malcom in the Middle” inspired.

The commercial here was dark.

Really digging this episode.

@moodswing it wasn't sufficiently spoiled to change eBay prices. Gocollect still has the issue at like $60 for a FN, and last night I couldn't find any copy at all for less than $180. And even if gocollect is behind, I'm sure there are enough people who weren't spoiled that you can still flip for a pretty penny.

Hope everyone watched past the credits.

I think something is controlling Agnes/ Agatha.

Purple seems to be the key. What villain had/has purple tendril type things?

I’m still thinking Dormamu.
