| I was lucky to meet Liam Sharp at a convention before everything shut down last year. I was even luckier to be able to commission this later in the year and it finally came in today! I guess he's better known for his work with DC in recent years but Liam Sharp was one of the artists that defined Venom's look for me when I was younger, up there with McFarlane and Bagley so I am super stoked to get this piece. If I'm lucky maybe I can get another one this year! Maybe a connecting Carnage cover!  |

| I hate to be so stupid, but they sell the blank variant cover comics so fans can get unique sketches/drawings on them? Each one then a one-of-a-kind work of art?? WHERE were these when Kirby et al were alive???  |

| @Redmisty4me that's the general idea. I've seen some that people just get signed, and I've seen some where people do nothing but slab them to get a 9.8. That last one is a headscratcher for me. | ||

| That's an exceptional sketch/drawing imo. Clear, detailed, concise, impactful. Sooooooooooooooooooo many Venom covers these days (particularly the 100's of store variants) are a collage of guts, tongues, teeth that take up half the page; and a plethora of nonsense going on. I don't know what the draw is for those covers. I really don't except that it is one hot mess. So when I see a drawn cover like this it captures the essence and features of venom with clarity and oomph! Excellent commission! |

| @Nuffsaid111 @HulkSmash Thanks! As I said, I was super excited to get it, exacerbated by the fact that the artist didn’t take a pic before sending in to CBCS so my first time seeing it was when I opened the box from CBCS, over 2 months later! |
