Later, Julie Newmar stars as Elieen in the Star Trek Episode, "Friday's Child". It looks more like a Star Trek on Broadway show... but I digress.

Yeah, I was laughing at that as well. The fight choreography in a lot of these old classic movies are hilarious.

And not just the movies, but a lot of the classic TV series as well... especially the old Westerns.

I just LOVE these old movies!! Did everyone see the driver's side rear wheel well on the "hovercraft" when they got into it on the island? The vehicles are just killing me!!! I think I had that helicopter as a kid. LOL

That was really cool to see a very young Hugh Milburn Stone (Doc Adams). I don't remember seeing him in anything other than Gunsmoke.

I thought the best part of the show was the "Svengoolie Stomp"!! I couldn't get into this movie for some reason.

@Jesse_O It's also possible you were bottle-fed as a baby and still have some issues around that.

@EbayMafia the whole snakewoman theme started a number of years ago for me. For the last 30 years or so, I have spent countless hours trying to find a movie that apparently only I ever saw!! LOL It's kind of become an obsession of mine to find that film. Anyways, a movie or a book fueled my imagination, since childhood, with images of snakewomen. So when the opportunity presented itself to get a commission from Val Mayerik, I asked if he would do a snakewoman battling a creature in a swamp or cave, wherever he wanted. He had complete artistic control. He thought it sounded interesting and did the first piece I shared. Since then, I've done the same thing with a few other artists. I enjoy the originality of the pieces. This gives the artist something to do in whatever style they want.

Anyway, when I die, I'm instructing my kids to sell them as a lot. People want Howard the Duck or Man-thing from Mayerik. A snakewoman in battle isn't going to command much money as a single item.

@Jesse_O Speaking of snake-creatures, This week I reread the Dreadstar annual "The Price". This page is kind of haunting:

Got mugged by a cobra once when I was walking through the park. Wouldn't recognize it again though-- it was wearing a hood.
LOL!

I had the same problem with a raccoon, except he had a mask.
