lol Beat me to it.
I got this closing night at SDCC '19. Mike and I just finished getting all his stuff organized and ready to take out when Walt walked by and irritated Security by starting a conversation with him LOL.
When they were done I asked for his sig in my book, which he happily did, and I scored a few Fanboy points with Walt by telling Mike what the sig represents (Mike didn't know, surprisingly since they're good friends).

I actually find Wrightson's sig unobtrusive here. It seems like it belongs IMO

I do like the the Steranko signature a lot. Here is mine:

I also really like the Todd sigs as well. Unfortunately I have none. I got some books I am saving up for him to sign eventually. That said I am still very partial to the Crain signature.

Walt's dinosaur signature is fantastic.
When he gets something really special to sign (oversized IDW hardcovers, original art, etc..) he is extremely deliberate with his signature and it looks great!

He has said so, himself! LOL.

But of course the man himself is a work of art.

Yes....it's because he does that warm up marker flick thing with his hand before signing....LOL

At my signing every time he flicked the pen the top would fly off behind him and the young dude with the tats that worked for him would have to go get the top and bring it back to him.

@esaravo that’s actually a pretty cool sig. I like it!

@Siggy Wrightson has a nice sig, but he liked to place it on the title. I think artist do that to preserve their art, but honestly good placement can really make the cover look cooler. I think often times these guys signed so many books they just stopped caring haha.

@Siggy the placement on the Sienkiewicz books look great. Those books look really sharp.

For favorite placement in my collection, gotta go with Romita on my ASM 129.

John Romita Jr does the same, just does a JR and second JR below in a square. Trying to get in touch with him about possible signings since he lives near me, apparently he frequents a shop a friend of mine goes to.

As soon as I saw this, my first thought was Steranko.

I'll see if I can find mine. I only have a handful of signatures, though.

Let's see: 2 Al Ewing, 1 Al Milgrom, 1 Mike McKone, 1 Stan Lee, 1 Steranko and Steve Erwin signed my Marvel Age twice. Once in 84-ish and again in 2019.

I don't like Alex Ross' sig but Joe Simon's is pretty cool.

Len Wein's is alright.

Jack Kirby's sig...

Agreed on the Capullo sig. My fav's I've seen thus far though are;

1) Steranko
2) Kirby
3) Sinnott

This is strictly on signature style. Not work portfolio.

With all due respect that Bill Sienkiewicz isn't nothing more than a squiggly line. Not even legible. Absolutely Horrible.

Completely honest I don’t have his signature and this image isn’t mine but how can no one have said John Totleben?

This might even be worse than the Claremont and Sienkiewicz
Unless you told them, 10 out of 10 people would not be able to identify who signed it, as it is simply not legible. I would never let anyone scribble on a book like that. If you haven't guessed by now Im not a big fan of signatures on books.
