| For me, the Steelers loss falls squarely on Coach Tomlin. He made what I consider to be a very poor decision that cost his team dearly. Facing a fourth down and 2 in Washington territory with the game tied, he decided to go for it instead of kicking a 45 yard field goal that would have given his team the lead in the fourth quarter. Possibly he knows something I don’t about the Steelers kicking game, but it seemed to me that he should have taken the lead when he had the chance. I may be way off base, but it seems arrogant to me to go for it in that situation, like “we are winners and they are losers, of course we’re going to pick this up and win the game”. News flash: the other guys get paid too. And it’s not exactly like Tomlin’s team had been playing particularly well over the last couple weeks. I question if Tomlin would have made the same call against a higher caliber of competition. | ||

| @michaelekrupp - good point! Washington certainly is not a high caliber team but they do have the #7 defense in the league. On the flip side - I felt Rivera made some questionable play calls against an obviously high caliber team with the #1 defense. | ||
